She was predeceased by: her sister Geraldine O'Malley Skilton; and her parents, Edward O'Malley, Sr. and Genevieve Strain O'Malley. She is survived by: her husband Edward Armstrong McMerty, Jr.; her brother Edward O'Malley, Jr.; her children, Edward Armstrong McMerty, III, Kara McMerty Bennett (Brad), Susan McMerty Campisciano (Vince) and Maureen McMerty Echternach (John); and her grandchildren, Gregory, Kylie, Claudia, Brynn, Ford, Blair, Genevieve and Patrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
