It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mario J. Bacchia Jr. of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario J. Bacchia Sr. and Dorothy Zurlo Bacchia; his daughter Cindy Bacchia; and his sister Catherine Fenza (Charlie Fenza). He is survived by: his wife Anne Toanone Bacchia; his children, Mario Bacchia III (Barbara) and Suzanne Croce (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Kara (Jake), Jackie, Thomas, Grace and Sophia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mario's name may be made to the Semper fi and America's Fund (https://thefund.org) or The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
