It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James T. McGeehin of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew McGeehin and Edith Snyder McGeehin; and his siblings, Robert, Andrew, John McGeehin and Rosemary Moye.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Gallagher McGeehin; his children, Melanne Caverly, James T. McGeehin Jr. (Adela), Rosemary McGeehin and Kathleen Reilly (Mark); his grandchildren, James T. McGeehin III, Matthew McGeehin, Kathleen Strunk (Steve), Claire Caverly, Andrew Caverly, Sophie Reilly and Lila Reilly; and his great grandchildren, Rhys and Rory Strunk.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Jim's name to St. Jude Hospital for Children.
