With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hubert Thompson of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Robert Thompson (Irish Army) and Kathleen Thompson; and his brothers, Robert, Sean and Lawrence Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson; and his children, Kathleen Blair (Thomas) and Robert Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Maris Grove Chapel (200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Saint John's Cemetery (260 Cambridge St, Worcester, MA 01603).

“Hugh was my boss when I was just out of Holy Cross College. He was a fine, fine man of impeccable integrity. In fact, Proverbs 20:7 describes him perfectly: "The upright man walks in his integrity". He was always supportive, always kind, and had a brilliant mind. We just learned of his passing and plan to say the Rosary today for our brother, his family, and all who love him.
