She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gruszka and Angeline Gruszka (Jurkowski); and her brother Frank Gruszka. She is survived by: her daughter Anne Marie Bates (Randolph); her grandchildren, Angela Bates-Majewski (Michael), William Bates (Margaret), Kathryn Minacci (Trevor), Veronica Brown (Matthew), Benjamin Bates (Nicole) and Diana Knight (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Charles, Max, Claire, Brooke, Jenna, Brad, Derek, Taylor, Rebecca, Dylan, Aubrey, Luke, Blake, Bentley, Nicolette, Savannah, Delaney, Macklin and Jaydin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd. (608 S Old Middletown Rd, Media, PA 19063). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saints Simon and Jude Parish (6 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382). A burial was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
