She was predeceased by: her parents, Verda Stout and William Morris Stout; her husband Charles "Ray" Hardy, Jr.; and her siblings, William Morris Stout, Jr. (Gertrude), Dorothy S. Poust (James), Walter Hallowell Stout (Nancy) and David Ralph Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Charles R. Hardy III (Tracie Baker) and Carol H. Stewart (Steven J. Talyai); her grandchildren, William C. Hardy, Carrie Sicoli (Jonathan), Marie H. McKinley (Michael) and Sandra; her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Henry; and her sister-in-law Katherine Stout.
