Charles W. Verna Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles W. Verna of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles W. Verna and Marianne Verna; his spouse Claire D. Verna; his children, Diane C. (De), Charles, Verna (Renee) and Brian C. Verna; his grandchildren, Alexandra Mancuso (Joe), Matthew Farley (Laura), Andrew Verna (Agata) and Michael Farley (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Isabella Mancuso, Joey Mancuso, Henry Farley, Faye Farley and June Farley; his sister Carolyn D. Feindt (late Harry "Buddy"); his sister-in-law Gerri; his son Chuck; and also Charlie. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saints Simon and Jude Church (8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382). A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
