She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Aley and Pearl Bell Aley. She is survived by: her husband Alan C. Holcombe; her children, Karan Saitto (Jeffrey), Keith Holcombe (Melissa), Karlene Lafferty and Kristan Holcombe (RoseAnn); and her grandchildren, Emily Barrett, Briton Barrett (Amy Bork), Kelle Patton (Ralph), Jenna Holcombe (Sven Prim), Shane Riser (David), Gary Huntsman, Amanda Dunn (Nathan), Rachel Fuller (Ray), Shannon Holland (Jason), Andrew Holcombe (Hannah), Samantha Howell, Matthew Holcombe and Brian Lafferty.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to celebrate and honor Alva to the Maris Grove Resident Care Fund, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
