She was predeceased by: her parent Oswald Ackerman; her husband Charles Murphy; and her brother Robert Ackerman. She is survived by: her parent Dorothy Agle Ackerman; and her children, Daniel Hanson of Harveys Lake, Marc Elgaway (Pam) of Reston, VA and Mary Elgaway Barrett (Kevin) of Nanticoke. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
