He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ference and Marie Ference. He is survived by: his wife Margie Ference (Roberts); his son Daniel E. Ference Jr.; his daughter-in-law Erin; his grandchildren, Joshua, Natalie and Nicholas; his daughter-in-law Linda; his granddaughter Elizabeth; and his siblings, Thomas Ference (Lori) of Finleyville, Robert Ference (Amy) of Rostraver and Diane Ference of Jefferson Hills. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Glassport Senior Center, 544 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045.
