He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer L. Thompson and Edna C. Thompson (Keith); his sons, Timothy and Thomas; and his siblings, Francis, George, Robert, Walter, Boyd, Kathleen Marano and Alberta Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Miller; and his children, Terrance E. Thompson (Virginia) of Cleveland, Ohio, Tracy D. Thompson (Laura) of Kirtland, Ohio, Benjamin P. Thompson (Jill) of Waynesboro, Matthew A. Thompson (Stephanie) of Waynesboro and Stacey L. Nemitz (Jun) of Suwanee, GA.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
