With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joseph Moore Jr. of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on September 26, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his son Edward Moore. He is survived by: his wife Harriet; his children, Joseph Moore, III (Jane), Anne Moore Willcox (Mark), Elizabeth Moore Mahoney (Edwin) and Timothy Moore (Teresa Addiego); his grandchildren, Jane Moore (Isaiah King), Sara Moore Dolan (Phillip), Gretchen Moore (Eric Thomas-Hill), Anne Willcox (Greg Murphy), Elizabeth Willcox, Charles Mahoney (Li), Edwin Mahoney, III, Lucille Mahoney Bailey (Tom), Nathaniel Moore, Nigel Moore and Sun Hi Moore; and his great grandchildren, Jane King, Rocco Dolan and Edwin T. Mahoney.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Merion Cricket Club (325 Montgomery Ave, Haverford, PA 19041).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Riverbend Environmental Education Center (https://riverbendeec.org) in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania.
