He was predeceased by: his parent Francis Oakum; and his son Francis Oakum. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Kelly Oakum; his wife Christine M. Dumchock Oakum; his sons, Sean Oakum (Robyn Defelice), Bloomsburg, Stephen Oakum, Craig (Marci Oakum), Brian Oakum and Danville; his sister Miriam Rose Oakum of Greenbriar, AR; his grandson Robert Oakum; and also Girardville.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations be made, in Thomas's name, to the church of their preference.
