He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. and Mildred Hummel Boyer, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hummel Boyer; and his children, Brian Boyer (Sherry), Brandon Boyer (Samantha), Melissa Riedel (Matt Sophy) and Tony Melnick (Nicky). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
