He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Artz and Helen Troutman Artz; his wife Jean Marie Krise Artz; and his siblings, Dolly Bashore and Teddy Artz.
He is survived by: his daughter Leanne (John Gross); and his granddaughter Randi Gross.
