With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine M. Oakum of Girardville, Pennsylvania, born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Dumchock and Mary Slavinskie Dumchock; her husband Thomas L. Oakum; her son Francis; and her brother Conrad Dumchock.
She is survived by: her sons, Sean Oakum (Robyn), Stephen Oakum and Craig Moorestown (Marci); her grandson Robert Oakum; and her sister Sandy Forbes.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions, in Christine's name, to either the church or veterans organization of your preference.
