He was predeceased by: his parent Melvin M.; his former wives, Patricia Heim (Willey) and Betty Heim (Nichols); his son Willis J. Heim Jr.; and his brothers, Melvin J. "Shorty" Heim and Willis Reosch.
He is survived by: his parent Gladys Heim (Wittenburg); his wife Cheryl L. Heim; his son Douglas Heim (Jackie); his daughter-in-law Jenifer Heim; his stepchildren, Kristy Strain, Diane Rainey (Jerry), Todd Strain, Robert Strain (Katie) and Dennis Muller; and his half-sister Dorchester. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
