He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bartosek and Louise Bartosek; his pet Cody; his son Brandon Bartosek; and his siblings, Vicky Konetski, Louis "Skip" Bartosek, Frank Bartosek and Anthony Bartosek.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Bartosek; and his siblings, Gloria Forsythe (Bill), Mary Beeman, Gelsa Sydow (George), Ed Bartosek (Ann), Mark Bartosek, Richard Bartosek (Mickey) and Joe Bartosek (Cora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
