He was predeceased by: his father Earl "Bud" Platz. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Platz (Jones); his son Thomas Platz II (Sara); and his grandchildren, Bryson, Callen and Avery. He is also survived by many cousins and friends, including his dear friend.
