He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Work and Estella Work (Bachman); his daughter Teresa Lynn Watson; and his siblings, Warren Work, Ida Smead (Work) and Joann Morgan (Work).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Work (Kaminski); his children, Mervin Work Jr., Jeffrey Work (Melinda), Carla Stone (Thomas) and Kathy Good (David); his stepchildren, Jason Collins, Brenda Landis (Paul) and Dana Collins (Kathy); and his sister Mildred Chase (Work). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Burton Funeral Home (525 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
