She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Peters and Ida Heckman Peters Fobes; her husband Robert E Chapin; her children, Russell Chapin (Butch) and Mara Gray; and her grandchildren, Michelle Gray (Robert) and Shawn Gray.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Kaufman (George) of Johns Creek, GA; and her grandchildren, George Kaufman IV, Christine Zeiler, Eric Chapin, Lisa Carlson, Marsha Stevens and Kevin Chapin. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, an intimate burial will be held at the Springfield Cemetery with a later memorial service to be held at the Edder Funeral Home in Girard on July 25, 2020, which would have been Margaret's 90th birthday.
