She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kochera and Myrtle Kochera (Stonebraker); her husbands, Amos Newman and Dan Ritchie; her son Timothy Newman; and her brother Dave Kochera.
She is survived by: her son Tom Newman (Diane) of Girard; her siblings, Mary Albright (Dick) of Ringle, WI, Oly Kochera (Audrey) of Girard and Joe Kochera (Pam) of Eire; her grandchildren, Julie Swift, Jeffery Newman, Timmy Newman, Tommy Newman, Billie Jo McCraken and Sara Steigerwald; her great grandchildren, Lex and Lana Keith; and her close friend Stella Ratajczak.
The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lydia's Memory can be made to either the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department or the West Springfield United Methodist Church.
