John Moodie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Moodie of Girard, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret Pude, Ina Kelley, Alice Donaldson, Jeannette Averill and Robert Moodie.
He is survived by: his wife Donna I. Moodie (Peckham); his children, Irene Moodie (Bill Sunderlin), Debra Elkin (Alan) and John N. Moodie III (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Colby Elkin (Amy), Amanda Moodie, Galen Sunderlin, Morgan Stelick (Cory), Greg Gruda (Shawn), Aaron Sunderlin (Kelley) and John N. Moodie IV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours and services will be held privately by the family, due to the covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Unitarian Universalist Church, 107 Myrtle St., Girard, PA 16417.
