It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Smith (Girard, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Dollie R. Chapin (Rossman); his stepfather Charles Chapin Sr.; and his half-brother Charles Chapin Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shelby J. Smith (Moore); his sons, Howard E. Smith (Jen), Robert A. Smith (Amy) and Kevin R. Smith (Amanda); his grandsons, Brett Smith, Justin Smith, Jacob Smith, Derek Smith and Cole Smith; his niece Missy Grettler (Rob); and his nephew Randy Chapin.
