He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Spears and Dorcie Spears (Short); his siblings, Shirleen Lowe (Spears), Francis Neal (Spears), Leroy Spears and Buford Blake Spears; his former wife Penelope Spears (Fawcett); and also Tom Fawcett.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Spears of Lakewood, NY, Fate "Randy" Spears II of Columbus, OH, Melanie Mischler (John) of Franklin Township, PA, Andrew Spears (Kristen) of Atlanta, GA, Adam Spears (Melissa) of Cleveland, OH and Nathan Spears (Ashley) of McKean, PA; his wife Cathy (Cornish); his stepdaughters, Melissa Brooks (Michael) of Erie, PA and Heather Pezzuti (Jaime) of Cranberry Township, PA; his daughter Marla Turnbull (Steve) of Pittsburgh, PA; his siblings, James, William, Chuck, Van, Robert, David, Josh, Shelby, Mylinda and Vickie; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and eight granddogs.
