He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joyce, Donnie Gehrlein and William Angerer. He is survived by: his parents, Steven Mattson and Angella Mattson (Angerer); his children, Madeline Arnold, Harper Mattson, Connor Mattson and Jayden Mattson; and his siblings, Amber Mattson and Bryan Mattson (Jessica). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eric Mattson Memorial Fund in Care of Edder Funeral Home Inc.
