He was predeceased by: his parents, James Armstrong and Grace Armstrong (Hunt); his partner Rene Hawthorn; and his brother Timothy Armstrong. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan (Jacalyn), Christopher and Jason Armstrong; his sisters, Dina Tackett (Steve), Diane Schatz, Darla Armstrong, Debbie Armstrong and Denise Armstrong; and his grandchildren, Maxwell, Lillie and Tessa Armstrong. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
