It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Brown of Gillett, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Brown and Lewis Brown of Gillett, PA. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Haight Brown; his children, Kenneth James (Cathy Meyer), Holly Beth (Jonathon Dodd) and Daniel Lewis (Brooke Rosensteel); his grandchildren, Sarah, Noah (Lila Bolze), Esther, Isaiah, Elijah, Ashley, Odane, Issac, Savannah, Arianna and Giannah; and his siblings, Linda MacAuslan, Kathleen Millen (Mickey) and Gerry (Faith).
He grew up as a country boy, severely disabled by the polio pandemic at the beginning of his life and again by the COVID pandemic toward the end of his life.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Living Christ.
