It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Anthony Weglos (Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania), born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Sr. Weglos and Eleanor Weglos (Beitler); his children, Zach Weglos and Maggie Weglos; his brother Stan Weglos (Karen); and his nieces, Alyssa Weglos and Beitler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's name to the Lymphoma Research Fund at the Abramson Cancer Center.

“I am broken, this evening I heard that my former resident, and chief resident, Mark Weglos has passed away. I am still in shock and disbelief. Dr. Mark Weglos was not just a knowledgeable and an outstanding resident but he was a greater person. I had the priviledge to interview Mark for the General Practice Residency Program at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He was my top pick and I am so lucky to have spent the next two years teaching, learning, and working along side him. Gone too soon! TSL”
