He is survived by: his children, John Barnett, Jr. (Christine O'Brien), Mark Barnett (Sherri), Jamison Barnett (Jen) and Shelly Marshall (Scott); his grandchildren, Justene, Julia, Hunter, Jayda, Graham, Julius, Taylor, Eden, Winnie and Camryn; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Lorenzo, Matteo and Phoebe; and his brother Barry Barnett (Margie).
