She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Sands and Stella Sands (Richard) of Gilbertsville, PA.; and her siblings, Blanche Miller (John), Pauline Fine (Merrill), Gloria Grisdale (Charlie) and Ardi Sands (Lenore).
She is survived by: her children, Randal Doaty (Cynthia) of Douglassville and Susan Lelko of Bellefonte; her grandchildren, Dr. Sarah Doaty, Kristen Weller (Jason), Brett Lelko (Erin), Shawn Lelko (Sarah Felice) and Kelsy Lelko; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Weller, Hudson Weller, Benaiah Lelko and Jireh Lelko; and her sister Daisy Pihanich (Joseph).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
