She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson T. McClanen and Maude E. McClanen (Daubner). She is survived by: her children, Thomas Hamlin (Theresa) and Catherine Mock; and her close friend Kenneth Williams. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Pottstown (1565 S. Keim St, Pottstown, PA 19465) in Dorothea's name.
