He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Pytko (Gucwa) and Anthony Pytko; his wife Diane L. Pytko (Israel); and his siblings, George Pytko (Stella), Anthony Pytko (Millie), Bernie Pytko (Irene), Stanley, Lillian Reiff (Victor Reiff), Sophie Kaczmar (Stephen "Tichon" Kaczmar), Mary "Mamie" Burns (Jimmy Burns) and Helen Carr (John Francis Carr IV).
He is survived by: his children, Anthony of Pottsville, John (Jenny) of Barnesville, Christian of Gilberton, Richard (Heather Billus) of Mahanoy City, Deborah Pytko Walker of Jacksonville, N. C. and Cindy Schoenauer; his sisters, Rosalie Gelches (late Lawrence "Tex" Gelches) and Dolores Leister (late Francis "Butchie" Leister); and his grandchildren, Mason, Olivia, Addison of Mahanoy City, Christian, Cole and Caylee of Gilberton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, services are planned to take place in the future.
