He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shimukonas and Anna Shimukonas (Gawley); and his sister Theresa Yashinsky. He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Shimukonas of Barnesville and Anthony Shimukonas of Barnesville; and his brother-in-law John Yashinsky of Gilberton. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA , PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
