Mary Ann Petner Obituary

Mary Ann Petner, age 85 of Chestnuthill Township, Saylorsburg, PA passed away with her loving family at her side on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at home.

She was born in Tamaqua, PA on August 13, 1939.

Mary Ann had worked as a Secretary for Rohm and Haas in Center City, Philadelphia, PA for many years until retiring.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, PA.

We give thanks for the way Mary Ann has blessed our lives with treasured memories. She will be deeply missed by her daughters: Sharon Petner of Philadelphia, PA, Michele Larsen and her husband Ted Larsen Sr. of Saylorsburg, PA. with whom she resided and Helen O'Connell of Philadelphia, PA.

She was the loving grandmother to Ted Larsen Jr., Michael O'Connell and Jason O'Connell.

Mary Ann is also survived by a sister: Elizabeth Basgil of Sewell, NJ, a nephew: John Connor and wife Arlene , Niece: Janet Hollenbaugh and husband Ed, Great Nephew: Justin Hollenbaugh and companion Edith, Great Niece: Taylor Penza and husband Jason and Great Great Niece: Adelyn Jean Penza.

Her faithful dedication to her family life will never be forgotten. May our memories of Mary Ann continue to bring smiles to our faces, and may we always know that she is near.

Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
