She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd D. Mackes; her parents, Floyd Daniel Griffith and Sadie Griffith (Kunkle); her son L. Thomas Mackes; her brother Warren E. Griffith; and her sister-in-law Leona Griffith (Deiter).
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy J. (Rick Everett) of Lehighton; her daughter-in-law Patricia Mackes of Saylorsburg; and her grandchildren, Robert T. Mackes of New Castle, DE, Daniel L. Mackes of Saylorsburg, Nicole Mattfeld of Tabernacle, NJ and Brett Everett of Lehighton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
