Evelyn Jean Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2020, at the age of 95, Evelyn Jean Smith (Gilbert, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bess Ritchey and Vernon Ritchey; her husband William H. Saltzer (David C. W. Smith); and her siblings, Dorothy, Vernon, Norman and William.

She is survived by: her children, W. David Saltzer (Sarah "Sally") of Northampton, Laurie Favini (Peter) of East Stroudsburg and Nancy Herbert (William) of Gilbert; her grandchildren, David Saltzer, Heather Saltzer, Brynn Buskirk (Jon), Devon Kuharik (John), Jim Scheirer (Season), Mike Scheirer (Christine), Chris Herbert, Brianna Herbert, Alex Herbert, Nathan Favini (Patty), Andrew Favini (Andi), Courtney Lichty (Christian) and Johnathan Favini (Sarah); and her stepchildren, Barbara, Brenda, Edie and Jan. She is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
