It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Angela (Becallo) Rizzo (Gilbert, Pennsylvania), born in Frankfort, New York, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband John S. Rizzo; and her parents, Frank Becallo and Grace Becallo (Fedele). She was also predeceased by her brothers Joe, Dan and Frank Becallo and her sisters Carmella Chester, Anne DeMasi and Nancy Schneider, brothers-in-law Frank Chester, Warren Schneider and George Dorian.

She is survived by : her step-children, John Rizzo (Barbara Matteucci) of Ardmore, PA, Richard Rizzo (Cathy) of Effort, PA and Diane Rizzo (Eddie Wolfe) of East Stroudsburg, PA.; her grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Madelena, Claudia and Angel; and her sister Ruth Dorian. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, no services are scheduled at this time. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at the Santa Fe National Veterans Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

“Angela, sister in law, friend. Its with a heavy heart to hear of your leaving us. You've been my friend for 60 years, matron of honor at your wedding to John, the love of your life, gentle man. Now you can spend an eternity with him as well as with your sisters and brothers, especially Frank. Your painting of a fox hangs proudly in the dining room. Rest in peace dear lady. Love you. “I have fond memories of Aunt Angela. I stayed at her apartment when I was small and visited the school where she was principal. She loved foxes and called Uncle John her fox. I hadn’t seen her in many years, but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Aunt Angela. We know you are united with your loved ones and we’ll meet you again one day.
