He was predeceased by: his wife Judith A. Hirtzy; and his father Louis Hirtzy. He is survived by: his siblings, Esther Gardner, Robert J., Richard L. and Roy L. Hirtzy; his nieces, Sandra Fischer (John) and Barbara Borgfeldt (Nick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Melissa Snyder, Katie Crago, Brian and Brandon Fischer; and his aunt Anna May Hirtzy.
