He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Starr and Frances Starr. He is survived by: his wife Kerry J. Doherty Starr; his daughters, Ashley of Gibsonia and Sara Starr of Gibsonia; and his grandchildren, Jacob Starr-Lambert and Brooke Starr-Megill.

Remembrances in lieu of flowers may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd. Renfrew, PA 16053.
