He was predeceased by: his parent Herbert Rivers; and his sibling Richard Rivers. He is survived by: his parent Mildred Rivers (Eyth); his children, Shelly Rivers of Gibsonia, Linda Bastida (Eduardo) and Barbara Connors (Charles); his sibling Joyce Belli; his sibling-in-law Douglas McCurdy (Paula) of Saxonburg; and his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Ellecia, Daniel, Matthew, Alena and Anna. He is also survived by husband for 61 years of Doreen McCurdy Rivers, whom he married.
