He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Aaron Chappel and Sally Houck Chappel; his wife Nancy L. Harkins Chappel; his children, Jennifer Lutz (Greg), Christine Barud (Michael), Michelle Bruce (Duncan) and Richard "RJ" Chappel (Sue); his siblings, Joanne Obies, Kenneth Chappel, William Chappel (Beverly) and Debbie Cunningham (Terry); and his grandchildren, Dawson, Alastair, Oliver, Rhian, Alex, Abby, Aramiac and Zerina.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (5864 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
