He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Petrak and Mary Petrak (Strobel); his wife Vivian Jane Petrak (Colmery); his grandson Samuel Markantone; and his siblings, Robert Strobel, Joseph Petrak, William Petrak, Lawrence Petrak, Albert Petrak, Margaret Petrak, Agnes Redenshek, Claire Shirey, Rose Nocera and Regina Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Petrak (Diane), Coral Markantone (Lucas) and Jay Petrak (Patti); his grandchildren, Carissa Larson (Micah), Micah Markantone (Talia), Emily Russell (Kirk), Rachel Arnold (Zack), Logan Bing (James), Taylor Petrak and Ryan Petrak; his great grandchildren, Valerie Petrak, Asher Russell, Isla Russell, Asa Larson, Joshua Larson, Lydia Larson, Clara Markantone, Luisa Markantone and Lucy Arnold; his siblings, Joan Mansell of Wampum, Jane Petrak of Beaver Falls and Sam; his sister-in-law Charlotte Colmery of Aurora, Ohio.; and his significant other Jack Montgomery of Brice Freeman.
