He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Shoemaker and Lucy Bernowski Shoemaker; his wife Rita Niederberger Shoemaker; his children, Jessica Shoemaker of Arlington, VA and Lauren Bustos (Craig) of Denver, CO.; his sister Edith King (Robert) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and his granddaughter Olivia Bustos. He was also cherished by his daughters, son-in-law and a nephew.
