He was predeceased by: his parent Mike Sworden. He is survived by: his parent Joan Sworden (Picconi); his brother Frank Sworden; his wife Patricia Sworden (Mellon); his children, Aaron Sworden (Bethany Scherer) of Washington, Adam Sworden (Christina Swisher) of Valparaiso, IN and Shannon of Gibsonia; his grandchildren, Allison, Brody and Nora; his siblings, Frank Ward (Karen), Dennis Rhetorik (Debbie) and Sandra Kaminski; and his godchild Melissa Kaminski-Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
