He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Chappell and Gean Wallace Chappell; his wife Denise Miller Chappell; his children, Cynthia Chappell Deal (Andrew), William L. Chappell (Jamie) and Jonathan L. Chappell (Monika); his siblings, Leticia Goodman (John), Robert Chappell (Marsha), Hugh Chappell (Ruth) and William Chappell; his grandchildren, Sophie, Adam, Charlotte, Lainey, Willow, Ellerie, Max and Sebastian; his stepdaughter Beth Ann Smith (Nathan); and his stepgrandchildren, Steven, Sarah and Samuel.
