We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2020, at the age of 92, Lillian (Thein) Birx of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thein and Agnes Wittensoldner Thein; her husband Arthur E. Birx; and her siblings, John Thein and Agnes "Honey" Thein.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Steve; her children, Gloria Newman (Robert) of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Arthur Birx Jr. (Karen) of North Carolina, Carol Ray (Dave) of Pittsburgh and Diane Holt (Brian Steven Holt) of Washington, Texas; her grandsons, Robert Newman, Joseph (Kristi Newman), Edward (Jenny Newman), David (Angie Shea Ray), Arthur (Emily Ray), Matthew (Jacquelyn Birx), Jason (Kristen Ray) and Brian Ray (Daniel Birx); her siblings, Leona "Sissy" Thein Karchesky and Albert Thein; and also, Patricia Tomachefsky of Brenham, Alma Toca Robles of Navasota and Arnoldo Reyes of Navasota, Texas.. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews along with numerous other relatives; good friends.
