John P. Walsh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Walsh (Gibsonia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lynn Walsh (Baur); his parents, John C. Walsh and Dolores Hoburg; and his siblings, Paul Walsh, Jennifer Landolina (Damian), Scott Hoburg (Meredith), Keith Hoburg (Trish) and Mitch Hoburg (Chris Washburn). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater Ll Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Cathedral (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Savior Cemetery (4629 Bakerstown Rd, Gibsonia, PA 15044).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pittsburgh Firefighters Foundation, 120 Flowers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15207.
