He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Ranhart and Anna Ranhart (Bernt); his wife Elsie Akers; and also Dorothy Berman. He is survived by: his children, Mary R. Willson, John D. Ranhart, Jr. (Kathy) and Jeffrey D. Ranhart (Linda); his grandchildren, Matthew Willson, Jackson Ranhart and Molly Ranhart; his brother Daniel Ranhart; and his cousin Phyllis Chvostal. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and daughters in-law.
