He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kosty and Pearl Spisak Kosty; his wife Janet Heath Kosty; and his siblings, John, Joseph and Victoria.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Barno (Mark), Timothy Kosty (Kathy), Michael Kosty (Debra), Ellen Moderhack (Randy) and Karen Rucker; his grandchildren, Colleen, Jessica, Christopher, Joseph, Micaela, Madeleine, Daniel and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Annabella, Kora, Sienna and Beckham.
